Lyle Pearce Lovett is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer whose witty, genre-blending style fuses country, folk, swing, jazz, blues, and gospel. Since his 1986 debut, he’s released 14 albums, won four Grammy Awards—including Best Country Album for The Road to Ensenada—and acted in films like The Player and Short Cuts.
