MBS is excited to host a “table” at Bernell’s (Thank you, Rita!) to share our mission (supporting live blues music in Madison) and the many projects we strive to complete each year. This chance to hang out with like-minded folks on Thursdays open Blues Jam. Last night was awesome with the Usual Suspects’ awesome talent.
Last night (July 9), four MBS Board Members were on hand to drink in the moving keyboards & smooth vocals of Todd Phillips, funky bass grooves delivered just on time by Wade Stewart, matched only by tight percussions of Joe White on drums, and at lead guitar and vocals, Steve Malin, who consistently delivers skilled performances, taking his audience on a magical night of great music!

Madison is truly unique — you can simply drive 5 minutes to your local venue to see (free of charge) supreme talent like these guys (each from disparate bands), in a relaxed friendly place, serving up some really beautiful high-quality blues. We are indeed fortunate!
