There’s Texas, and then there’s West Texas. You can leave it behind but you can’t let it go. Nobody knows that better than the newly formed West Texas Exiles. Love of music and a restlessness to escape their hometowns brought them together in Austin. With an upcoming EP under their belts, they nonetheless have a deep catalog among the 3 singers/songwriters: Marco Gutierrez (Dirty River Boys), Daniel Davis, and Colin Gilmore; backed by bassist / producer Eric Harrison and drummer Trinidad Leal (DRB, Dixie Witch, Grady, Honky) |

Big Bull Falls Blues Festival is Wisconsin’s longest-running blues festival, held annually at Fern Island Park in downtown Wausau. The 2026 festival spans two days, Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, offering a mix of live blues performances, food vendors, and beverages in a scenic riverside festival. This is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine, with updates provided on the festival’s social media in case of severe weather.
Kicking off the 35th Anniversary of the Big Bull Falls Blues Fest at 4:30 pm is Jon Peck & the Bad Dogs with Stefan Geisinger. The band will be playing under the beer tent on the side stage, between the main bands to keep the Blues rolling! |
